In the Lakhimpur Kheri district, On 3rd October 2021, eight people including four farmers have been killed in the violence. And a case was filed against the Union minister and his son.

In the Lakhimpur Kheri district, there is a Banbirpur village. In the village, farmers were gathered to protest against Farm law because UP Deputy Chief Minister Keshav Prasad Maurya was invited there for the inauguration of a wrestling competition.

Bhartiya Kisan Union (BKU) leader Rakesh Tikait claimed in a tweet that the farmers were beaten when they were going back after staging a protest against the center’s new farm law. He added that the people in the convoy also done open fire on farmers.

Further, he claimed that some Individuals died and many were injured in this incident. Tikait highlighted that he was going to the Lakhimpur Kheri district.

How the incident started?

In the Benipur village where UP Deputy chief Minster Keshav Maurya was to attend the inauguration, supposed to be landed on the helipad but a group of protesters sat on it for the protest. After this Deputy chief minister decided to reach there by road.

After the inauguration, when he was going back. It is claimed that a group of unidentified persons allegedly open fire at the farmers. It’s also reported that two-vehicle ran over them(a video proof is getting viral ), the video we can see the level of cruelty.

Following this, a group of angry farmers fired two vehicles. UP CM Yogi Adityanath called it unfortunate and expressed grief over the incident.

People who dead

when we look at the death toll then it’s confirmed by the DGP Mukul Goel that a total of eight-person died in this incident. Out of eight, four-person were those who were in the vehicle and four were farmers.

Four-person who were in the vehicle are still unidentified. And the four late farmers have been identified as

These all farmers belong to Bahraich and Kheri districts.

It’s also claimed that the farmers have done stone-pelting towards the vehicles. And maybe the four-person other than farmers who were died in the Incident belong to the BJP party.

Involvement of Union minister’s son

It has been claimed by the Samyukta Kisan Morcha that one of the farmers was shot by MOS Home Ajay Mishra Teni’s son Ashish Mishra. Samyukta Kisan morcha necessitated a murder case to be filed against Ashish Mishra and his son.

But the Union minister refused all the allegations and said his son was present at the function not at the place of the incident. He also added that he had a shred of video evidence to back his claim.

He added that there were some hoodlums who attacked the party workers with swords and sticks and if my son was there in this massive level of violence then he wouldn’t have come back alive. Ajay Mishra says his son was not present in the car and due to stone-Pelting the driver of the car lost his balance.

FIR has been registered against minster Ajay Mishra, his son, and fourteen others.

Mobile and Internet Services are suspended

In the violence-hit district, mobile and internet services have been suspended. According to some officials assembly of four or more people has been prohibited as CRPC section-144 is in action.

Security arrangements have also been increased on the Delhi border. All the administrative officers also took stock of the movement site at Gazipur.
